“Form Follows Feeling”

VISION

Studio DADO was founded on the belief that design should move beyond form and function to something deeper: feeling. As travel evolves—shaped by new generations of guests, emerging technologies, and shifting expectations—the spaces that stand out will be the ones that move people.

DADO’s vision is to lead that movement. From marine interiors to land-based hospitality, the studio creates environments that embed empathy into every interaction, leaving people more connected, inspired, and alive.

STRATEGY

DADO’s strategy is to build a brand that extends beyond its founding partners, positioning the studio alongside “starchitect” firms while preserving the creativity and intimacy of a boutique practice. Brand recognition and reputation are key to scaling.

Unlike firms that emphasize performance or style alone, DADO centers emotion. Every detail is designed to support human rhythm, reflect inner worlds, and create spaces that feel just right.

BIG IDEA

At the core of the brand is the Idea Worth Rallying Around®: Form Follows Feeling. This philosophy asserts that great design is not defined by aesthetics alone but by the emotions it evokes and the experiences it enables.

As a purposeful inversion of the modernist maxim form follows function, it defines DADO’s point of difference. More than utility, spaces must move people—provoking empathy, sparking connection, and reframing design as an emotional encounter rather than a technical exercise.
