VISION

Impel began as a digital merchandising technology provider, helping automotive retailers present inventory online with accuracy and appeal. As consumer behavior shifted and car buying became digital-first, leadership recognized a larger ambition: to evolve from a product provider into a technology partner powering the entire ecosystem of automotive retailing. The vision was to deliver intelligence, speed, and clarity along every step of the customer journey.

STRATEGY

To realize this ambition, we repositioned Impel around its ability to drive change at scale. The name “Impel” itself captured energy and momentum, aligning every touchpoint around the company’s role as an engine of transformation. A new brand strategy, messaging system, and visual identity established Impel as a category leader built for the future of automotive.

BIG IDEA

At the center of the repositioning, we created the Idea Worth Rallying Around®: Drive the Future. More than a tagline, it became a rallying cry that galvanized employees around a shared ambition to push the industry forward. For clients, it signaled momentum and competitive advantage—choosing Impel meant staying ahead of disruption and accelerating into the next era of automotive retail: digital-first, data-driven, and customer-centric.
